About Me

Hello! I'm Shamiso, welcome to my website. I'm a undergraduate BA Fine Art student currently studying at Loughborough University. As I approach the end of my degree, I’m preparing for my degree show this June; a culmination of four years of developing and refining my creative practice. The exhibition will showcase the work I’ve been building towards throughout my time at university.
 

My current practice centres on wooden geometric sculptures that explore movement within structured systems. Working primarily with wood for its tactile, traditional qualities, I construct bold, colourful forms that carry a child-like familiarity. Movement operates as a form of disruption within the work: through shifts, rotations, and moments of activation, the sculptures unsettle their apparent order.
